Currency notes poured on by the fans of popular folk singer Devyat Khabad. The Dayra artist was performing in the MSU youth festival ‘Arpanam’ where the audience poured notes on the singer on stage.

MSU students union is presently organising the youth festival Arpanam 2020 where various programmes are lined up for the students to enjoy and show their creative skills in different competitions. On Thursday evening performance of popular folk singer Devyant Khabad was organised at the university pavilion where currency notes were poured on by the fans. The programme was well attended by VP Kaksha Patel, UGS Rakesh Punjabi and good number of students to enjoy the Dayra sung by Khabad.

UGS Rakesh Punjabi said the programme of Devyant Khabad was organised for the students to enjoy the traditional Gujarati folk culture which somehow is slowly vanishing from the minds of the students. He further added that such programmes will be organised in future with the help of students.
