Covid treatment will be available in community health centers in taluka level

CHCs are are being prepared for covid treatment with facilities including oxygen

Covid treatment facilities including oxygen bed will now be available at the taluka center in Vadodara district. For this, the District Collector has started preparations on war footing for the necessary improvements in the infrastructure and medical devices.

Oxygen pipelines are being installed at Padra's community health center as part of a plan to provide covid treatment facilities. As a result oxygen bed will become available for treatment at the centre.

Under the guidance of District Collector Shalini Agarwal, the work of strengthening the infrastructural facilities of Padra Community Health Center has been carried out on a war footing with the objective of making the treatment of Covid accessible at the taluka level only.

The government hospital is planned to provide facilities mainly including oxygen beds. Currently, work is underway to lay pipelines to supply oxygen to beds. Jumbo cylinders will be provided in the hospital to ensure adequate oxygen.

This community health center will serve as Covid Health Center cum Covid Hospital. Necessary staff recruitment and training is also planned.

The District Collector has given the responsibility to the District Supply Officer at the district level and the concerned Province Officer, Mamlatdar and Taluka Health Officer at the taluka level to complete this work on a war footing. Constant contact and guidance is being given to get this work done quickly.
