Pioneer Covid Hospital started with 210 beds and oxygen ventilator facility
With the growing number of Covid patients, the treatment facilities have been expanded in Vadodara under the guidance of Dr. Vinod Rao, Officer on Special Duty and the Secretary of Education.
Dr. Minu Patel said, the number of patients admitted at Sayaji Hospital has increased to 315 and as per the instructions of Dr. Vinod Rao, a 50-bed covid treatment facility has been started at Gotri ESIS hospital. In consultation with the Divisional Deputy Director of Health, work has been started to start treatment facility of 50 more beds at Infectious Diseases Hospital, Karelibagh by Saturday evening. Low risk patients will be admitted in these hospitals to reduce the burden on Gotri and Sayaji hospitals.
Following Dr. Rao’s consultation yesterday evening, a 210-bed Covid Hospital has been started at Pioneer Medical and Para Medical Campus on Ajwa Nimeta Road near Ajwa Bypass Crossing. It features beds with oxygen, special room and ventilator beds.
At this private hospital treatment will be provided by the government / at the rate fixed by Vadodara Municipal Corporation. Private hospitals under the cluster of this area are requested to send patients to this facility if they do not have bed capacity.
