    The Health and Family Welfare Ministry today said, over 14 lakh 27 thousand people have recovered from Corona virus infection in the country so far. The recovery rate has gone up to 68.32 per cent.

    The Ministry said, a total of 61 thousand 537 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the country in the past 24 hours taking the total number of cases to 20 lakh 88 thousand 612.

    Presently, the total number of active Corona cases in the country is six lakh 19 thousand 88. In a single day, 933 deaths were reported taking the nationwide toll to 42 thousand 518.

     According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, as many as 5 lakh 98 thousand 778 samples were tested yesterday, taking the total to 2 crore 33 lakh 87 thousand 171 so far.
