In Gujarat,
Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today announced to set up infection isolation
hospitals in Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat and Vadodara in view of rising Covid 19
cases.

Chief
Minister Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel today chaired a high
level meeting. Mr Rupani said that 1200 bedded infection isolation hospital
will be set up in Ahmedabad where as 500 bedded isolation hospital in Surat and
250 bedded hospital will be set up in Vadodara and Rajkot.

He added
that all the shops in the above four cities will be closed except the shops
selling life essentials such as medicines, vegetables etc till March 25.

AIR correspondent reports that total number of
positive case in the state has gone up to 13 in which five are from Ahmedabad
while three each from Vadodara and Surat wheras one each from Gand
