Controversy erupted as tution class opened in Vadodara

Administrator said the students came as they had some queries

Controversy erupted when a tuition class was opened in Raopura Ghee Kanta Road in the city. However, the class administrator said in his defence that the students had a query in the study and came voluntarily. The class is open as they teach students through on-line class.

All educational institutions have been instructed to close due to the Corona pandemic. The condition of the administrators who have closed the tuition classes has become dire due to the lockdown. However government gives relaxations in phases but still not allowed the tution classes to open for teaching.

In between Umeshbhai Modi, the administrator of the tuition class on Raopura Road in Vadodara, created a controversy by starting his own tuition class on Wednesday. Locals raised protest after the tution class starts and demand to close it down immediately.

Umesh Modi said, that the government has issued an order to close educational complexes due to Covid-19 and their tuition class is also closed. However, they are giving online classes to the students of the class.

The next date of the supplementary examination of standard 12 to be taken by the Gujarat Secondary Education Board is on September 25 and some of the students who took this exam are from his class. Around 7 to 8 students came to the class as they had a query regarding the subjects and he didn’t ask them to come to class.

It is to be mentioned here that even in Unlock-4, the government has not given permission to open educational complexes to prevent the transmission of Corona.

Private tuition administrators were asked for permission to start classes by some of the city’s tuition administrators, but, it was not approved by the government. Due to the closure of tuition classes, the condition of the administrators who are making a living only on tuition classes has become dire.
