    Contract drivers of VMSS continue their strike for the second day as they shouted slogans against the management at Vehicle pool unit. They demand to make 300 and more employees permanent working with the corporation for years.

    After the end of strike by 1254 sanitation workers in Vadodara, the contract drivers working with corporation starts their strike demanding to make them permanent. They went on strike from Thursday and continue on Friday raising their protest in view of their demands. They threaten to continue the agitation till their demands are not resolved.

    On Friday the contract drivers raised slogans against the management and continue their protest for the second day. In view of the protests deputy municipal commissioner reached vehicle pool and held a meeting with the protesting drivers.

    However nothing positive comes out in the meeting and the protesting employees continue their strike till their demands are not resolved.
