Conmen stole parcel contain foreign currency from the bag of businessman in Vadodara

Pretend as sales tax officers and fled with the parcel worth around 15 lakhs

Conmen in a bollywood style robbery took out parcel containing foreign currency from the bag of a businessman in Vadodara. having cash worth 15 lakhs. The accused pretend to be as sales tax officers and fled with the parcel worth around 15 lakhs from the bag they took for checking. The whole incident was captured in the cctv and police is further investigating to trace the accused.

As per details owner of Hariom Money Changer in Anand, Vijaybhai Kalyani reached Vadodara via train and was about to visit Grifin Forex Private Limited in Alkapuri area to deliver parcel of Pound and Dollars. Vijaybhai reached the lane of Express hotel around 6.30 in the evening and heard a sound from behind as he walked just 50 steps after get down from the rickshaw.

He turned after heard the sound of someone asked him to listen and found one person gives his identity as sales tax officer and inquiring about the bag he carries with him. Meanwhile they stop another one and checked his bag. In the meantime the conmen took out the parcel carrying 7000 pounds and 10,000 dollars worth around 15 Lakhs and returned the bag to Vijay Kalyani.

Vijay moves towards his destination but found the bag weigh less and shocked to see the parcel missing from inside. He search for the persons but they were missing and informed the police about the incident. Top police officials from Gotri police along with the staff reached the staff and found three suspicious persons after accessing the nearby cctv cameras. Police further investigating to trace the accused.
