    A complaint has been lodged at the railway police station against the station master of Pilol railway station for raping a young woman eight months ago. She works as sanitation worker at the station. In the complaint the victim mentioned about threatened by the accused and also offered 100 rupees after molesting her. The Railway Police has registered a case based on a complaint and further investigating in the case.

    According to a complaint lodged at the railway police station by the victim, she is a native of Madhya Pradesh and currently living in the railway quarters near Pilol railway station. She works as a contract cleaner at Pilol railway station.

    Her husband also works on railway tracks in contract. On March 1, 2020, she was cleaning next to the station master’s office, at that time Rajendra Kumar Verma (living in front of Yash Complex, Gotri, Vadodara) who was on duty as station master approached and took her to the store room and raped her. After the rape he gave 100 rupees to the victim and threatened not to report the incident to anyone.

    However, she forced to quit job after reported the incident to her husband. The couple then went home after the lockdown imposed due to Corona. Later after the relaxation they returned and her husband went to work as usual and the girl was alone in the railway quarters.

    In the complaint she stated that on the afternoon of October 17, when she was alone at home the station master Rajendra kumar Verma knocked on the door. When she opened he showed the knife to the girl and threatened not to tell anyone about his visit to her house. However she locked herself in fear.

    Meanwhile, the girl informed her husband about the incident and he called the station master asking about done such a thing with his wife before and even today coming to the quarter.
    To which Verma replied and asked him not to take the matter further.

    Finally after gained courage the victim gave complaint against the station master at railway police station.
    A case has been registered against Station Master Rajendra Kumar Verma under sections including rape and atrocity act.
