Vadodara city will host the state level celebration of 71st Independence Day on 15th August this year. Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani will be on a two day visit to the city attending many programmes along with the National Flag hoisting on Independence Day.

The CM will arrive in the city on 14th August morning and attending many programmes like Women convention, youth convention, hoisting biggest tricolor in the state and various other programmes lined up for two days.

Starting the marathon of programmes the CM first will inaugurate Harni police station followed by state's biggest tricolor flag hoisting, tree plantation and foundation stone laying ceremony of Shahid Smruti Van at Sama talav area of the city.

He then will move to Savli to attend Women Convention programme there and then back to Vadodara to attend Youth convention at Polo ground.

In the evening the CM will remain present in At Home Programme in Akota stadium and then moves to SSG auditorium to attend CM Relief Fund Donation programme. Later he will attend the cultural programme at Polo ground.

On 15th August as per the schedule he is supposed to attend the Janmashtami aarti at Iskon temple and then moves to Navlakhi ground to attend the state level Celebration of 71st Independence Day at hoist the National Flag. He then will attend a tree plantation programme at Polo club and then inaugurate Tricolor hospital in Vadodara. That marks the end of his two day stay in Vadodara and the CM then depart to Gandhinagar.
