Extend his wishes to the LRD students

CM Vijay Rupani flagged off the 8th edition of Vadodara International Marathon on 6th January Sunday and felt previliged to be part of the run for the 3rd successive year. He extend his wishes to the students appearing for the LRD exam. He also said the government take note of the representation from the MLA’s and the government hospital will be equipped with ultra modern facilities.

CM arrived on stage and flagged of the Divyang and other runs from Vadodara. He said it’s a historic moment where the whole Baroda is running for a cause to stay fit and healthy. It’s a source of inspiration every year when people from every walk of life and of every religion run to spread the message of unity. Divyangs, senior citizens and women in big numbers took part every year in the marathon and spread the positive message in the society.

He said Vadodara is leading it’s way in the world and with other cities like Ahmedabad, Surat and Rajkot gives the state of Gujarat a identity and move forward towards development.Vadodara Marathon becomes a role model for Gujarat.

Omani Singer Haitham Rafi perform at the marathon with his rendition of ‘Vaishav Jana’. Ronit Joshi also skate blindfolded to record books in the 5km run and also solving the Rubic cube.

With Vadodara Marathon and LRD exam clashed on Sunday, police is not taking any measures and implement strict security outside the centres in Vadodara. Traffic is also diverted in view of the exam and some routes were closed for smooth run of exams after the paper leak incident earlier.
