CII’s (Confederation of Indian Industry) Young Indians (Yi), Vadodara Chapter jointly with Regional Traffic Office (RTO), Vadodara, organized its first Students – Teachers study tour at RTO Vadodara.

The prime objective of the session was to educate Students – Teachers on different functions executed by RTO. A brief visit to all the departments were carried out and students were given hands on experience of all key departments of RTO.

Post visit, students were given a presentation on Road Safety to propagate measures to reduce the risk of road accidents and road side injury & implications of the new Motor Vehicle Act in Vadodara city.

Yi Vadodara member, Sonal Bhavsar said, “These sessions give a fair idea on the important functions of RTO and also create awareness on Road Safety, Yi Vadodara has taken this key step to educate students, teachers & citizens of Vadodara.”

The session concluded with the chota-cop pledge taken by all 200 students to keep themselves & their near-ones safe by educating them on Road Safety, a report card was distributed to students to evaluate their parents of their Road Safety habits. These Chota – Cops (students) will rate their parents on road safety through the report cards. Rating will be based on rules followed by parents.

To further deepen the engagement on Road Safety, Yi Vadodara will organise public awareness skit at various pockets of the city to maximise the reach of Road Safety awareness with-in the citizens.
