China sets a record by passing two bullet trains parrallel at a speed of 420 kmph

Railways of china set up a new record on 15th July 2016, by crossing two bullet trains parallel to each other on tracks at a speed of 420 kmph.

As per China Railway Corporation, “ The two trains ‘Golden Phoenix’ and ‘Dolphin Blue’ were separated by only 1.6 meters when they met, setting a world-first for trains crossing at such speeds.”

The two Chinese bullet trains crossed on lines between Zhengzhou in the central Henan Province and Xuzhou in the eastern Jiangsu Province.

China has built over 16,000 kms of high speed train tracks connecting most of the major cities.
