China built that awesome bus that drives over traffic

Finally engineers have completed a full-scale moving mock-up of china’s wacky transport idea, the Transit Elevated Bus , a large bus that allows cars to drive under it.

The prototype was unveiled on Thrusday in Hebei province’s Qinhuangdao city as per the sources.

This bus is about 22 metres long, 7.8 metres wide and 4.8 metres tall. Around 300 passengers can travel at a time.

Multiple cars less than 2 metres (6.6 feet) tall can drive under the TEB .One of the engineer said to the sources that the team behind the TEB plans to make the vehicle commercially available within a year to a year and a half.

TEB could be a cost effective and traffic congestion will be solved as it can carry hundreads of passengers at a time without disrupting the regular traffic flow.
