Children studies under street light in digital era

As the government is talking about digital age here is the example from Vadodara where students are forced to study under the street lights. Every day nearly 40 students from 1st to 9th sit on the road at Waghodia road area and learn under the light of mobile and street lights.

The pictures says it all as it present the real picture of the government promises of providing high education to poor and middle class. The students are sitting on road to study every night under the street lights.

Sometimes ago corporation demolished the hutments near Waghodia Kaladarshan crossings and work is on to provide them houses in VUDA scheme. The children living there wishes to continue studies but have no option to learn. Heena foundation comes to their rescue and gives them tuition for the last two and half years.

Foundation organiser Rahul Rajput said earlier they taught them by sitting on the compound of the temple but after the demolition the students now sit on the road to study. The students are bright and have the potential to do something in life. They all take time from their schedules to teach the students and wish they can reach their goals someday.
