Doctor said that the he was administered within 24 hours of surgery and heavy antibiotics were given to protect them from infection. His deep wounds were constantly cleaned. Different teams of doctors were formed for their treatment. The team of ophthalmologists treated the eye, but due to the injury in the right eye, it could not be cured. However, the treatment is still going on.
Cheetah was injured in an encounter with militants in Bandipora on 14th February. Three jawans were killed in this encounter. After the news of the presence of terrorists in the area, the security forces had launched a search campaign, but the terrorists had already got information about it.
They changed the place. Chetan was leading the operation. During the encounter with the terrorists, 30 bullets were shot on the cheetah, in which nine bullets were hit.
