CHARUSAT’s engineering institute -CSPIT RECEIVES most innovative college West Zone award 

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), in association with the internship and training platform, Internshala, conducted 1st Internship Day Ceremony on 25th August 2018 at the AICTE Headquarters in New Delhi. The event was organised to honor and acknowledge the colleges who have made remarkable efforts in helping their students secure internships during the months of April – July.

Chandubhai S Patel Institute of Technology (CSPIT) at Faculty of Technology and Engineering (FTE) based out of Changa received an award under the Most Innovative College – West Zone category and was felicitated at the ceremony.

Dr. A. D. Patel, Principal of Chandiubhai S. Patel Institute of Technology (CSPIT), Dr. Amit Ganatra, Dean, Faculty of Technology & Engineering and Principal of Devang Patel Institute of Advance Technology and Research (DEPSTAR) has provided valuale inputs to CDPC team regarding selection of sector for the students for summer internship.

Charotar Institute of Technology (now Chandubhai S. Patel Institute of Technology – CSPIT) started in year 2000 by Shri Charotar Moti Sattavis Patidar Kelavani Mandal. CSPIT is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Charotar University of Science & Technology – CHARUSAT. CHARUSAT has been established under Gujarat Private University Act No. 8 of 2009. It is the first State University getting “A” Grade in Gujarat in the first cycle by National Assessment and Accreditation Council, NAAC.

Both the institutes (Chandubhai S Patel Institute of Technology – CSPIT and Devang Patel Institute of Advance Technology and Research – DEPSTAR) which are constituents of Faculty of Technology and Engineering (FTE) at CHARUSAT have always been adapting latest technological trends for empowering the education system since inception. At Faculty of Technology and Engineering (FTE), students have to undergo full-time summer internship after 4th semester and 6th semester of engineering to get more practical and industrial exposure. Students should earn credits of this internship in the next semester based on their presentation.
