CHARUSAT University and Cadila Healthcare Limited sign MoU for research and development

A new journey of research and development has started for globally recognized Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT University) located in Changa and Ahmedabad based Pharmaceutical company Cadila Healthcare Limited Zydus Research Center. Both the institutes have signed an MoU for the purpose of contributing towards the progress of education through the means of research and development.

CHARUSAT and Zydus Research Center will engage in a mutual exchange of research and consultancy services and research facilities. Under this joint venture, various workshops, conferences, and symposiums would be organised, and courses/syllabus would be developed based on the industry requirements. As per the MoU, Zydus Research Center employees and CHARUSAT faculties both will have access to continue their research and development work in both the facilities.

During the signing of the MoU, CHARUSAT University was represented by Surendrabhai Patel, President, Kelvani Mandal & CHARUSAT, Dr. M C Patel, Hon. Secretary, Matru Sanstha-Kelvani Mandal-CHRF, Ashokbhai Patel, Vice President Kelvani Mandal & IT Advisor for CHARUSAT, Dr. Pankaj Joshi, Provost, Dr. Devang Joshi, Registrar as well as respected deans and principals from affiliated colleges. On behalf of Zydus Research Center, Dr. Sanjiv Kumar, President – Zydus Research Center, Dr. Arun Singh – General Manager, Mr. Ashish Gupte – Vice President and Mr. Purvish Shah – Senior Manager were present during the MOU signing.

Hailing this great collaboration, Dr. Sanjiv Kumar – President, Zydus Research Center said that interdisciplinary research is the need of the hour and requires prime focus. Asserting the same, Surendrabhai Patel – President, CHARUSAT said that educational institutes need to be proactive and equipped to prepare industry centric pedagogy and syllabus for which industrial partnership plays a crucial role.Attachments area
