With an aim to build a healthy and fit society, CHARUSAT University and CHARUSAT Hospital came together for the inauguration of CHARUSAT Medical Outreach Centre by CHARUSAT University Provost Dr. Pankaj Joshi. With this facility people from the city and nearby areas can get medical facilities at affordable cost.

Chhotalal Bhikhabhai Patel Chhatralay on Vidyanagar Road, Anand became the venue for CHARUSAT Medical Outreach Centre on the World Physiotherapy Day. With the onset of this centre, citizens of Anand and Vidyanagar as well as villages and towns nearby now will have the state of the art medical treatments at affordable cost.

Patients will receive the services of general check-up as well as clinical lab tests like blood profile, sugar profile, lipid test, liver test, kidney tests, thyroid test along with dialysis check-up and physiotherapy services from the team of expert Physiotherapists.

Equipped with state of the art infrastructure – the physiotherapy unit of CHARUSAT Medical Outreach Centre is armed with equipment and facilities to offer host of services including Cervical Spondylosis, Back Pain, Paralysis, Cerebral Palsy, Sports Injury and more.

CHARUSAT advisor Dr. B.G Patel applauded this admirable endeavour by CHARUSAT University and Hospital. Speaking on the occasion, CHARUSAT Provost Dr. Pankaj Joshi said that, gone are the days when people used to stay fit with physical activities. In the present times, the materialistic happiness and lack of physical activity have led to growing need of Physiotherapy services. This advanced facility will prove a boon for the Anand and surrounding neighbourhoods.

Sharing a future plan, Dr. Bala Ganapati said that very soon they intend to start such Outreach Centres in Nadiad, Kapadvanj and Tarapur. On the occasion of inauguration Secretary of Matrusanstha – Kelvani Mandal – CHRF Dr. M. C Patel announced the donation of Rs. 11 Lacs by Vice President of Kelvani Mandal C A Patel.
