As the nation is facing the uncertainty and lockdown situation due to COVID-19, CHARUSAT has once again adopted an innovative way to continue the work. Ashok and Rita Patel Institute of Physiotherapy (ARIP), has adopted an innovative online entrance test and counseling initiative for the admissions in the master’s program.
ARIP,
CHARUSAT is probably the first in Gujarat to endorse such a unique way that
shows learning must go on. The most surprising and encouraging thing is that
this initiative endorsed under the guidance of Dr. Bala Ganapati, Principal,
ARIP has received a tremendous response and master’s degree program has 100%
seat registration.
With the
unique online entrance exam and counseling initiative for the master’s program
in the wake of COVID-19 lockdown, the passion for education again emerges as
the winner. As part of this initiative, students appeared for an online
entrance test and MPT counseling for the admission in MPT program for the academic
year 2020-21.
Dr. Bala
Ganapati during this crucial time again emphasized the importance of consistent
and continuous learning and teaching for which University took the
revolutionary step and initiated an online admission in the MPT program for the
academic year 2020-2021. Initially, applications were invited for admission in
five specialist courses namely Musculoskeletal Sciences, Neurological Sciences,
Pulmonary Sciences, Pediatrics, and Rehabilitation.
Expert
faculty helped both students and parents/guardians clear their doubts and
stress with guidance and counseling. Based on the application received, the
online entrance exam was conducted through the MCQ model followed by a merit
list published on the CHARUSAT website.
It is a
proud and heartening moment for CHARUSAT students, staff, and faculty for the
stupendous success it has received in its new initiative. It will surely give
students and parents a positive and definite future even in these uncertain
times.
