Police arrived and stop the proceedings
Chaos happened at Baroda High School in Alkapuri area of Vadodara city after school administrators calling the standard 12 students to submit assignments.
Police arrived when they were informed about 200 students had gathered near the school. They later stopped the proceedings of taking school assignments.
Corona cases are on the rise across the country, including in city of Vadodara. The state government has started implementation of lockdown-5 and this time also starting of school-colleges is not allowed till further orders.
At that time, the school administrators of Baroda High School, run by the Lions Club in Alkapuri area, called the standard 12 students to submit assignments on Saturday. One by one, about 200 students arrived at the school to submit their assignments. When the students reached outside the school, the administrators called one or two students to the office and started taking assignments.
Meanwhile, a police team reached the school as soon as they were informed that students had gathered outside Baroda High School and asked all students to go back. The students who had come to the school to submit their assignments were talking in the crowd regardless of the guideline of Covid-19.
Some person passing from there reported to the police that he saw a group of students outside the school. If the police had not been informed about this, the school administrators would have completed the task of taking assignments from the students.
But police arrived before school administrators could collect assignments to all students and stop the proceedings.
The incharge principal of the school defend himself and said that they didn’t call the students but called the parents the submit the assignment. Trustee of the school also reached the school after all the chaos and refused to comment on the matter.
