Celebration of IGNITE 2019 and 17th Annual Day at CMPICA CHARUSAT

850 participants from 30 different under graduate and post graduate institutes across the Gujarat state participated in this event.

“IGNITE – 2019”, A National level Computer Technocrats’ Symposium was recently organized by Smt. Chandaben Mohanbhai Patel Institute of Computer Applications (CMPICA), Charotar University of Science and Technology, Changa on 14th February, 2019. IGNITE, the first of its kind, was initiated in the year 2010 and since then, it organizes every year with higher impact and participation. It provides a tremendous opportunity for students to participate, compete and interact with students from other prestigious institutions.

More than 850 participants from 30 different under graduate and post graduate institutes across the Gujarat state participated in this event. Several events including Motivational talk by Nanadk Pandya, corporate trainer, Ahmedabad, Blind Coding (C), Blind Coding (Java), DB Mania, Technical Quiz, Project Expo, X- Gaming - Counter Strike, Poster Presentation, Theme Painting, Fruit/Vegetable Carving, Mehndi Competition were organized that provided a platform to the students to get recognition of their hitherto hidden talents.

With “IGNITE 2019”, 17th Annual Day of CMPICA was also celebrated on 14th February, 2019. Dr. Atul Patel, Dean and Principal, CMPICA presented the annual report of various curricular and co-curricular activities held during the past academic year. On the annual day, first three rankers of each semester from all programmes were awarded with cash prize and certificate.

Presently the institute is offering various programmes like MCA Lateral, M.Sc.(IT), BCA, B.Sc.(IT) and Ph.D. and more than 800 students are currently enrolled in the institute.
