Cattle keepers in Vadodara attacked the corporation cattle team

Cattle keepers in Vadodara attacked the corporation cattle team after they went out to caught the stray animals moving freely of the city roads. A matter was registered in the Bapod police station and further investigation is on to trace the attackers.

The city roads are not free from cattles and many times the riders face problems to drive. In the past death incidents are also reported due to the cattles roaming freely on the city roads. The corporation cattle teams conduct drives time to time to caught the cattles. However the cattle owners make the animals ran away from the roads during the drive.

In one such drive on Wednesday the cattle owners attacked the corporation team during the drive near Bhagyalaxmi society on Ajwa road. Around 10 and more persons attacked the team with bamboo sticks in the presence of SRP jawans also shocked the corporation team. A offence was registered in Bapod police station by the team and further investigation is on in the matter.
