Spreading the message of peace and happiness
The festive season begins and whole country is celebrating the beautiful festival of Christmas with gifts, wishes and lots of smiles. Vadodara is also indulge in the festive mood which stretch upto 31st December.
Christmas is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ observed on December 25 and celebrating by billions of people around the world. The day also marks the beginning of festive season stretches till 31st December and start of new year.
Vadodara known as cultural city also indulge in the colours of festive season and spread happiness all along. Like every year Sharon Methodist Church in Nizampura took out the candle light march in the city. On Christmas eve the annual candle light march started from Sharon Church in Nizampura with people holding candles in their hands spreading the message of peace and happiness. The march shows the birth of Jesus Christ and his teachings.
As per the pastor of the church Revran Martin Christian Jesus was born to spread the message of love and happiness and the candle march is to spread his sayings and show his miracles to the people on Christmas eve. The message is to come out from the darkness.
The candle march started from Sharon church and pass through Gelani petrol pump, Fatehgunj circle and back to church.
This time as part of the Christmas celebrations the church put up various decorations and also a selfie booth inside the premises as part of the festival.
