    A Cancer Awareness Webinar was Organised by NCC Group HQ Rajkot in association with Cancer Care India and Shri Batukbhai Khanderia Charitable Trust Health and Education, coordinated by 8 Gujarat Battalion NCC, Junagadh on 07 Nov 2020.

    The Aim of the Webinar was to make the young Boys & Girls aware of the major issues concerning the precautions, preventions and measures to survive from various types of cancers.

    The initiative was taken by Brigadier S N Tiwari Group Commander, NCC Group HQ, Rajkot, while opening the webinar he stressed importance of cancer awareness among the youths. The participation included 160 NCC Cadets alongwith 8 Associated NCC officers who attended actively with an Elite and Eminent Panel.

    The panel included Dr Alpesh Gandhi, FOGSI, Sudha Murgai, President Cancer Care India alongwith Dr Kalpana, Ob Gy Consultant and Dr Smita Shah Professor B J Medical College, who elucidated the Topic “Early Cancer Diagnosis and Screening” in the course of the webinar the cadets interacted with the Panel of Experts for their queries.

    The webinar proved very educative, informative and an enlightening experience for the participants on the occasion of Cancer Awareness Day.
