Specially designed to serve working women help themselves to stay healthy

In today's fast paced world we get little time to think about our health specially the food habits. Working women who are trying to meet both challenges at office and home are the most prone when it comes to eat healthy food. Most of the times they end up eating unhealthy food and realise it when its too late.

Vadodara being a cultural city is also known as the place of foodies but sometimes it lacks the traditional authentic taste which somehow lost in the fast food era. To bring back the traditional Gujarati food to people specially the working women, a cafe launched just ahead of International Women day. 'Kem Cho' is the place where the working women not only eat the calories rich home style recipies but also invite their families and friends to enjoy the date with good Gujarati food.

On the launching they have organised a session where working women shared their views on the food good for women. Dr. Shefali Pandya said working women must eat food which can gives them 2250 calories as they need more calories then the common. They have to start with authentic Gujarati breakfast Bhakhri, Thepla followed by Dal, Ric and Chapati in the afternoon. At night khichdi is the best option for them.

Writer Lipi Agrawal said due to her travelling profile she always search for Gujarati food and avoid fast food at places. However such cafe gives women like her a healthy option in their hectic lifestyles. Vashali Patil from Software System Private Limited and Pushpita Chatterjee from World Healing Foundation said if the family supported working women like them will help them looking after their health by eating good food. They need support from their husband and when this thing happens in this male dominated world the women will not get malnourished.

Cafe Kem Cho owner Utkarsh Patel and Sanjay Panchal said their aim is to bring back the traditional Gujarati food to people which slowly dying in this fast food culture. With this they have designed the menu in such a way that foodies can get Traditional fusion dishes like Handvo, Patra, Muthia, Chatako, Rotlo and Khichdi from morning. They are planning to reach out to whole Gujarat in future.
