Cabinet approves new AIIMS at Bathinda

The cabinet has given a approval for setting up new All India Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Bathinda in Punjab.
The new AIMMS at Bhathinda will be established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana.
The new All India Medical Science will provided super specialty healthcare to the people and create a large pool of doctors. Further it will include emergency and trauma beds, AYUSH beds, private beds,
ICU specialty beds and super specialty beds.
There will be an administration block, AYUSH block , auditorium, night shelter, hostels and residential facilities.
The cost of the project will be 95 crore and it will be completed in a period of 48 months from the date of the approval.
