Pre-budget meeting with state finance ministers is chaired by FM Nirmala Sitharaman

Nirmala Sitharaman, the Union Finance Minister, is hosting a pre-budget consultative meeting with state and union territory finance ministers (UTs).

The meeting is taking place in the national capital's Vigyan Bhawan.

Several chief ministers with finance portfolios will also be in attendance.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar are among the chief ministers in attendance.

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will also be present at the meeting.
