Brother said suffering from liver ailment

A person working as broker committed suicide after jumping from the toilet window of Gotri medical college in Vadodara. He was suffering from liver disease and it comes out to be the possible reason behind the extreme step. The incident also arise the safety issues inside the hospital.

As per the details Hitesh Mukund Shah 49 resident of Nizampura Mehsana Nagar was admitted in Gotri Hospital and jumped from the 7th floor on Monday night from the sliding window of the toilet.

His elder brother Bharat Shah said Hitesh was second in line of three brothers and lives with his wife. His son works in Dubai and he was a broker dealing in houses. He further added that Bharat Shah was suffering from liver ailment and admitted in the hospital on Monday afternoon after his condition worsened.

Around 11 pm in the night he went outside the ward telling his wife about going for nature's call. His wife followed him and raised alarm after Hitesh failed to come outside from the toilet after more than thirty minutes. She knocked the door but don't get any response from inside.

Meanwhile people shouted inside the hospital about someone committed suicide and she went down and shocked to see her husband's lifeless body.

The family members also reached the hospital after the message and raised questions about the security arrangements inside the hospital.

Gorwa police also reached the spot and send the body to SSG for postmortem. The incident however send shockwaves inside the hospital.
