Blood donation camp at 3 Gujarat Battalion NCC

As part of NCC Day Celebration, 3 Gujarat Battalion NCC under the aegis of NCC Group Headquarter, Vadodara, organise a Blood Donation Camp at its unit location on Tuesday. Around 75 cadets is expected to donate blood in aid of cancer, thalessemia, dengue and for Corona treatment.

On the occasion of 72nd Raising day the 3rd Gujarat BN NCC organise various programmes at their unit. As part of it and with the help of Red Cross Society Sir Sayajirao General Hospital, they organise a blood donation camp to contribute in the fight against Coronavirus. Cadets and officials donate blood for the noble cause and inspire others to join.

"NCC Vadodara celebrate it's 72nd raising day from 22 to 24 november planning different activities. The Covid situation in the country highlights the need of blood and hence we motivate the cadets to contribute blood for the patients. We shall donate blood once in a year and contribute in fulfill the shortage of blood in the country," said Col S Pawan Kumar, Sena Medal, CO 3 Guj Bn NCC.

Lt Col Amit Banerjee also remain present at the event and donate blood with Col Pawan Kumar.
