Congress candidate gave a complaint to the Election Commission after 601 votes were out during counting at Pipaliya booth in Vagra assembly under Bharuch district. The booth registered 591 votes during the elections.

The commission ordered and the election officer called the Congress candidate in the evening and counted the VVPAT slips in their presence. The total stands at 591 votes. The Congress candidate raised the objection after the total stands at 152259 when the voting stands at 152190.

As the recounting message spreads in social media people reached outside the counting centre along with the Congress leaders. Heavy police was also deployed at the spot.

However the objection is of no use as the BJP candidate Arunsinh Rana win was intact.
