BJP socked as Navjot Sidhu resigned from Rajya Sabha

Today 19th July 2016, Navjot Singh Sidhu's wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu confirmed that Navjot Singh Sidhu's resignation from the Rajya Sabha means he has left the BJP She also specified today that she will remain with the BJP.

As Punjab state elections are coming up political atmosphere is very high in the state. On 18th July Rajya Sabha member from BJP Navjot Singh resigned from Rajya Sabha. He was elected for Rajya Sabha recently in this year. As per rumors he may join Aam Aadmi Party and he may be candidate of CM from AAP in Punjab.

Navjot Singh’s wife also may join AAP, according to media reports. Navjot Singh Sidhu provided his services to BJP for many years. He

stated after resignation today, “With closure of every window leading to Punjab the purpose stands defeated, now a mere burden. I prefer not

to carry it”.

If Navjot Singh joins AAP than the elections in Punjab will be more challenging for the other parties.
