BJP National President Amit Shah had lunch with a Dalit family on Sunday, 23 July, on the last day of his three days visit to Rajasthan.
After rounds of meeting in the party office, Shah left for Sushilpura where he had lunch at the house of BJP Yuva Morcha member Ramesh Pacharia amid tight security arrangements.
Shah, accompanied by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, party’s state president Ashok Parnami, MP Bhupendra Yadav and others, was given a warm welcome in traditional Rajasthani manner.
Amit Shah ate Roti, Daal, Rice and vegetables in the lunch. There was a ladyfinger and Rajasthani Gatta in the food. Onions and lemons were in salad. Amit Shah sat on the valley and ate in the tradition leaf plate. The khulhar was arranged for drinking water. Worker Ramesh says that it is a matter of pride for us that the National President has came to our house.
The food that we eat every day, our mother has made that same food for Amit Shah. Halwa and kheer for sweet. Householders served food for them with their own hands.
