Enraged by the denial of stopping the RCC work, a BJP Councillor of Ward 3 slapped three times a executive engineer of Ward no. 2 in Vadodara. The employees of election ward no.2 went on token strike after such a treatment to their official. The employees later went to the municipal commissioner officer demanding security to them.
According to the information VMSS east zone ward 2 executive engineer Rajendra Vasava was in his office when the BJP Councillor Ajit Dadhich went to meet him at his office. He asked to stop the RCC work immediately which the executive engineers denied and that enraged the Councillor and he slapped him three to four times.
The news of Councillor slapping the executive engineer spread in the ward 2 office and all the employees went on strike immediately. They also then reached the office along with the engineer to the corporation office to meet the municipal commissioner.
However the BJP Councillor Ajit Dadhich said that he didn’t slapped the executive engineer and instead he rudly behaved after he went to represent before him the issues of local people. He accused that the executive engineer attacked him instead and he just pushed him try to save himself.
He further said that there are various areas in his area where the people deposit 1500 rupees for water and drainage but their questions are still to be answered. The management also not listening to them and he just went to represent the questions of the people before the executive engineer and he behaved rudely to him.
Executive engineer Rajendra Vasava said that BJP Councillor Ajit Dadhich came to stop the RCC work which I refused to stop. Later he argued with me but kept mum after asking about slapped by the Councillor.
