Biking Queens from Surat reached Vadodara on Wednesday evening to spread the message of safety awareness campaign and also Cashless India. The women from the age of 19 to 45 years are heading to Bhuj where they are supporting and launching Chalak Mitra during the safety awareness campaign.

Dressed in red t shirts, black pants the ladies are in full riding gear when they reached Vadodara and the audience welcomed them with big cheers. Dr. Sarika Mehta the founder of the club is very enthusiastic about the event they are supporting.

“The group is about the females passionate for biking and joined us to spread social cause while riding. We started from Surat to Bhuj with twin messages of road safety awareness campaign in association with Bhuj police and also to support the Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiative of cashless India. As a women we need to know the difference modes of cashless transactions and hence we spread the message while riding and also update the information in our social account,” said Dr. Mehta.

The group is of 35 to 40 ladies from different professions and some of them are housewives. The idea to start such a group is to aware the people that women can do anything and they are empowered like men to do every thing. “We are group of women with a mission to take social causes with us and in just one and half years of formation we are in three record books Guinness, Asia and India. In June July 2016 we took the message of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and start from Surat to Singapore covering 12,000 kms and passing through 10 countries in 36 days. We are the one to explore the riding road from Surat to Singapore. We want to show that Surti women can do anything and that we proved,” said Mehta.

“We want to spread the message specially to the girls and women to came out of your comfort zone and then see the sky is the limit,” added Mehta. The group is heading to Bhuj stopping in cities like Baroda, Ahmedabad, Gandhidham and spread our twin messages to the people.
