Its a bike borne youths terror in Vadodara on Wednesday as about more then six incidents of chain snatching were reported in different police stations.
In the first incident two bike borne youths snatched a gold Mangalsutra from a lady in Karelibaug area when she was working inside her house. The two approached her asking about a address and snatched the Mangalsutra.
The accused wearing I cards approached Preeti Kahar lives in Niketan society near Aryakanya school in Karelibaug area. They asked her about the society and then inquired about Ganeshnagar society which she deny about having any knowledge.
While she was returning back to her house one of the youth snatched the chain and fled from the spot. Preeti Kahar shouted for help but the youths managed to fled on their bike. Karelibaug police registered the offence and starts investigating.
In Warasiya Ring road area two bike borne youths snatched a chain from a elderly woman and fled from the spot. Anusuya Patel 50 lives in Paragraj society is running a flour mill near her house. Early morning on Wednesday two youth on bike inquired about a address and asked for glass of water. As soon as she came out the youths snatched the chain and fled from the spot. She shouted for help but the youth managed to fled from the spot. Warasiya police registered the case and started searching for the accused.
In another incident Kashmira Shah living in Jalabappa society at Waghodia road went to Jain Derasar nearby in the morning. Meanwhile two youths approached her near Ankur society and snatched the gold chain she wears and fled from the spot.
In Gowardhan Park Society near Karelibaug Swad quarters two bike borne youths snatched a chain from Reva Chauhan when she was heading towards Jalaram temple for darshan. They approached her asking a address and snatched the chain she wears. Her son is working in police department and the matter was registered.
Vasanti Chauhan living in Swad quarters was also became the victim of bike borne youths as they snatched the chain she wears from her while she was walking.
