Betting investigation revealed fake marksheet scam in Vadodara

Police seized duplicate marksheet and arrest one in the matter, another wanted

As the betting season begins with the start of IPL matches, people are being caught by the police every day playing online cricket betting through mobiles. The PCB team arrested a youth who was playing online cricket betting in Sayajiganj area.

However in-depth investigation by the police into his mobile revealed the fake marksheet scam of Maharashtra and Rajasthan.

The PCB team arrested Adil Majarbhai Chinwala (resides in Chinwala Building, Mughalwada) for playing online cricket in Sayajiganj area of ​​the city on 25 October. Adil’s mobile phone was seized by the police and while checking the team found pictures of marksheet of Maharashtra Board of Secondary Education. So the police interrogated Adil in this case and the scam of making duplicate marksheet comes out to light.

During the police investigation, photos of Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education’s standard 12 marksheet and certificate were found from Adil Chinwala’s mobile.

During questioning Adil confessed about receiving the pictures from his friend Noel alias Naval Sarjubhai Perera (living in front of Shiv Shakti Nagar Society Akota Police Line) Akota. So police raided the house of Noel alias Naval with Adil and found three laminated marksheets of Maharashtra Board of Secondary Education from the house.

When questioned by the police they found their friend Jigar Rameshbhai Gogra (resides in Saroj Park, Refinery Road, Vadodara) had prepared the marksheet and certificate.

The police verified the marksheet as duplicate and arrested Jigar Gogra for making and keeping duplicate marksheets of Maharashtra Board and seized fake marksheets, fake migration certificate, mechanical equipment from them. Search is on to arrest Noyal in the matter. Police is conducting further investigations into the matter to find the involvement of others in the scam.

Police investigation found Three standard 12 marksheet and certificates of Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary, 6 marksheets and certificates of Std. 12 of Rajasthan State Open School, 12 marksheet of Bachelor of Commerce of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University Agra, 1 blank Leaving Certificate of NK Academy Dahod, 1 Attempt certificate of Apex Education Society NGO, laptop, mobile from them.
