Bed capacity of Sayaji Hospital will be increased to 750

Officer on Special Duty and Education Secretary Dr. Vinod Rao visited Sayaji Hospital and reviewed the situation. He said that with the increase in the capacity of the beds here, the situation is under control. On Wednesday the number has increased to 700 with the availability of 50 more oxygen beds in the b2 ward.

With the addition of 50 more beds in the B1 ward on Thursday, the bed capacity will increase to 750. With the installation of 10 more ventilators, the total number has risen to 185. Thus, the flexibility of the bed and ventilator is increased here.

He said that Team Sayaji has done a wonderful job of adding 50 covid beds in just 12 hours with the help of vendors and contractors. The team will raise 50 more beds in the next 12 hours.
