Sessions on Juvenile Justice act, POCSO and Child line held

Baroda Citizens Council had organised a training programme for the RPF, GRP, Railway Officials, Medical officials, Coolies,and stall vendors at the Vadodara Railway station. The programme aims to give proper information about various acts related to juvenile, children and others.

The session about Juvenile Justice Act ( J.J. Act) and Prevention of Children from Sexual Abuse from Sexual Offences ( POCSO) Act was taken by M A Mirza ( Full time Secretary & Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate ). Information about Child Help Desk and Child Line ( 1098) was given by Priya Jagdale BCC Executive Director.

Satyadev Meena Station Director motivates the participants and ensured full support to the childline team. RPF inspector Sanjeev Dubey was also present and supported the event.

All the participants later ensured working towards safe environment for children.

Baroda Citizens Council has been working in the city of Vadodara since 52 years. The organisation has been active in the field of Child rights, women empowerment and Healh related issues in rural and urban areas of Vadodara.
