Wish cricketer Deepak Hooda in his endeavours
Baroda Cricket Association wish cricketer Deepak Hooda in his endeavours and put the game above all. The statement comes after the rift between Hooda and Baroda team captain Krunal Pandya during the practice session on Saturday ahead of their match against Uttarakhand in Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament playing on Sunday.
As per reports Baroda team captain Krunal Pandya and vice captain Deepak Hooda had a rift during the practice session at Reliance ground on Saturday. After which Hooda left the hotel room and informed the BCA for his unavailability to participate in the tournament.
The issue became a topic of discussion as both the players are senior and play international matches. In a statement BCA states, The Baroda cricket Association has been informed by Deepak Hooda that he will not be able to participate the Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament to be held in Baroda.
The Institution puts the game above any player and respects his decision to make himself unavailable. The speculation of a rift is a personal assessment of the player of the situation and the Institution has no comment to make other than wish him well in his endeavours.
