Maximum industries, offices and other business establishments in Vadodara are operational after the relaxation given by the government in unlock 2. However many of the academies are still not allowed to open and they are now demanding to let them restart again.
Baroda Music Academy also gives a memorandum to the district collector requesting to allow them to open their academy. They said it’s a hobby center not any education sector and they promise to follow Covid 19 guidelines issued by the government.
Prashant Dashpute from the academy said, due to Coronavirus pandemic their academy was closed for more than four months now. The condition of teachers taught in the academy are not good as they don’t have any source of income to sustain in this situation. In between they have to pay the light bill, taxes and other bills which increase more burden on them.
Prashant further said that their academy is taken into education sector but they comes under hobby sector. They don’t teach music and art at once to the students. Hence they gives a memorandum to the collector to allow them to start the academy again like the other industries. They promise to follow the Covid 19 guidelines issued by the government.
