In Vadodara Local Bank Employees Coordination Committee raised their protest and shouted slogans against the government
In view of their pending demands, nearly 11 to 12 lakhs bank employees went on strike on Friday. In Vadodara Local Bank Employees Coordination Committee raised their protest and shouted slogans against the government in front of Bank of Baroda building at Alkapuri.
On the call by United Forum of Bank Unions, the bank employees went on strike on Friday resulting in total shut down of work inside the banks. The employees shouted slogans against the Indian Bank Association and Government for not settling down their long pending demands inspite of many meeting between the two.
The strike badly affected the working all across the country which includes clearance of 25 to 30,000 crores. The strike will continue on Saturday as people have to wait till Monday for their bank related works.
