Bangladesh Eid  Blast: Two including 1 Policeman killed, 12 injured

At least 12 people were injured and two people including one policeman reportedly killed in an explosion at Eid celebration on Thursday at an Eid congregation at Sholakia Eid gah in Kishoreganj area of Bangladesh.

The incident took place at 9 am as per the Dhaka time zone. The explosion occurred in a prayer congregation here, which is considered to be the largest gathering in Bangladesh.

The violence comes just days since on July 1, a group of armed terrorists took dozens hostage inside the restaurant in Bangladesh. Where 28 were killed, including 20 hostages, 2 policemen and 6 attackers.

The Islamic State terror group had on Wednesday warned of more attacks in Bangladesh. The country was on a high alert because of security concerns during the Eid.
