Awareness programme on World Aids Day by Kripa foundation in Vadodara

On the ocassion of World Aids Day Kripa Foundation Vadodara organise a awareness programme in the city. The aim is to remember the people lost their lives and move towards a zero infection society.

The volunteers holding posters and placards formed human chain at Vrindavan Sigma Circle, Waghodia Chokdi and tried to spread the message in people to stay safe and work towards a healthy society. The theme for this year is – Global Solidarity & Shared Responsibility. The organisation in collaboration with homeopathy college organised an awareness program at Vrindavan Circle.

“Getting to Zero – Infections, is the prime objective of Kripa Foundation working in the area of HIV/AIDS amongst migrant workers, Injecting drug users & female sex workers (FSW) in Vadodara.

1st Dec is observed every year by the organisation as World Aids Day with the objective to create awareness and commemorate the lives lost due to AIDS. The organisation reached out to 11000 migrants every year and 100 IDUs and 250 FSWs for HIV prevention,” said Susan Christian from Kripa Foundation.
