1st May is observed as international Workers Day or the Labourers Day worldwide by labourers and the working class. In India it was first observed in Chennai on the 1st May 1923.
On the occasion of the same Kripa Foundation an NGO working amongst migrant population organised an awareness cum lecture program including poster exhibition at the VadodaraRailway Station with the coolies on the platform. They were informed them on the basic rights of migrant/labourers and focused on right to health away from addiction and also on hiv/aids.
