    Accused tried to molest her and killed as she resisted

    Assumed brother turned out to be the murderer of Khushboo Jani from Chansad village in Padra. The accused tried to molest her and as she resist he killed her and dumped the body inside the lake. LCB, SOG and local Padra police in a joint operation arrest the accused along with his parents helping in destroying the evidence.

    Body of 20 year old MSU student Khushboo Jani lives is Chansad village was found inside the lake near Chansad on Saturday night. She was missing from last three days and her body was found wrapped in the plastic bag with her hands and legs tied. Injuries were also found on her head and neck areas which clearly leads it as murder.

    Khushbu Jani lives in Chansad village studies in T.Y.B.Com of MSU in Vadodara. She was missing under mysterious circumstances and a missing report was given at Padra police.

    Investigating in the matter the LCB, SOG and Padra police jointly started to find the links and formed different teams to search for the accused. They access the CCTV, technical source, combing in nearby areas and stables but found nothing concrete.

    During investigation the team found a lead about the saree wear by Anganwadi workers used in to wrap the body. They found the shirt and door handle inside the cot used to wrap the body and began investigating in the village for a lead. However it also proves of no use and they failed to find any clue.

    Meanwhile a incident of CCTV DVR stolen from Chansad Swaminarayan temple came to light and the police found a important clue in the Khushboo Jani murder case. They finally cracked the case and found the accused involved in murder of his assumed sister.

    The accused Jay Hitesh Vyas an ITI student tried to molest Khushboo his Rakhi sister and made a plan. He called her to his house pretending to cover the textbooks and as soon as she arrives he tried to molest her. Khushboo resisted and shouted for help. Jay in a fit of rage picked the hammer and hit her on head. Khushboo ran upstairs and tried to close herself inside the bathroom but the handle of the door broke and Jay hit her with another hammer hit and later slashed her throat with a axe.

    He then tied her hands and legs, wrapped the body with black shirt, blanket and cot and tied it with plastic rope. Then he drove with the body on his activa towards the lake and dumped it inside. He throw the hammer, door handle and the mobile of Khusboo inside the lake to destroy the evidence.

    Police also arrested his parents to help him in cleaning the house and destroying of evidence from the crime spot. They also repair the broken lock of the door.
