ASI of PCR Van injured in attack by a group in Vadodara

The ASI of the PCR van was injured in Vadodara after the attack on the police by a group clashed late night in Vadodara. The PCR van on patrolling tried to control the situation after Group clashed near Zadeshwar Nagar ULC on Sunpharma Road from Akshar Chowk.

However they instead pelted stones on the van and also set a bike on fire. Strict police deployment was kept there after the incident.

As per available details two groups clashed near Zadeshwar Nagar ULC on the way from Akshar Chowk to Sunpharma Road within the limits of JP Road Police Station. Meanwhile, J.P. police station PCR Van on night patrolling reached there at tried to control the situation. However the crowd started pelting stones in the team and also set fire a motorcycle.

ASI Vinodbhai of the PCR van recieved injuries on his hand after the attack and was taken to the nearby orthopaedic hospital. The on duty doctor said he suffered a fractured hand in the attack and give treatment.

The incident which took place late at night, was reported to J.P. police station and PI along with his team rushed to the spot and registered complaint in the matter. Strict police deployment was kept there after the incident and investigation is on to caught the assailants.
