Asha workers went on strike against government

Asha workers all across the state and members of Fix Pagaar Samiti went on strike against the government. On the day of Dussehra they burn the effigy of the government and shouted slogans against them.

For the last 13 days the Asha workers and the members of Fix Pagaar Sangharsh Samiti represent themselves before the state government for their basic rights and salary. They demand equal salary equal work and also make them permanent.

They gathered at the Vadodara collector office and protest there for the past 12 days. On Saturday they burn the effigy of the government at the Kothi crossroads and shouted slogans against them.

For sometime the traffic was also disrupted due to the agitation. The Asha workers are sitting there inside the collector office for the past 12 days and threaten to continue the agitation till their demand were not resolved.
