HCG Foundation organizes an art exhibition on 24th March at their Hospital premises to raise funds for cancer treatment. With Art Works being displayed at the Swasti Contemporary Art Gallery, the theme for the exhibition is ’True Essence of a Woman’ which will see many renowned artists from India &Key Opinion Leaders of Vadodara, supporting the noble cause. The main objective of the exhibition is to sensitize the society towards cancer and cancer patients.

Its a different kind of initiative where the art works on display will be put on sale and 50% of the total amount will be send to HCG Foundation and later used for cancer treatment. "The idea is to raise funds for the treatment of cancer patients and nothing is better then the art exhibition. The art exhibition will work in two ways. First the relatives of the patients can ease their tension after see the art works and secondly the funds collected from the sale is used in treatment," said Sachin Kaluskar curator of the art show.

Its the initiative by the HCG Foundation called the Swasti Art Gallery, which was launched in the year 2007 to promote art and bring forth upcoming artists in order to raise funds for the HCG foundation, to help and support cancer patients.

With an aim to spread awareness and encourage the appreciation of art in the community, the Swasti Art Gallery has been actively involved in organizing art shows, camps and workshops which involve artists not only from the country but across the globe as well.

In Vadodara 23 paintings will be on display made by 23 artists along with co creation by women leaders in various fields. The non artist join the artists with their thought process and others. The art work is purely based on to celebrate womanhood as March is the month of International Women's Day.
