Armed robbers attacked NRI lady and robbed her of cash and jewellery

Armed robbers attacked and rob a NRI senior citizen lady in Vadodara pretend as customers to see her house. The unknown attackers inflict injuries on her and fled from the spot with gold bangles and diamond necklace. J.P. Police registered the offence and search is on to trace the accused with the help of cctv footage.

As per the available details NRI 62 year Yogini Desai is settled in USA and recently visits her house in Gulab Vatika society in Tandalja area of the city. She lives in both the countries time to time. One youth was visiting her everyday pretending to purchase the house but she denied. However the youth continues to visit and on Tuesday got the opportunity which he tried for long.

On Tuesday unknown youth attacked Desai with sharp edge weapons and robbed of 4000 cash, four gold bangles and diamond necklace from her. The alleged attackers inflicted injuries on her hands and face and fled with the cash and jewellery.

Meanwhile as the robbers left the NRI lady shouted for help and the locals shifted her to the hospital for treatment. Meanwhile the J.P. police also reached her house and register the complaint. Based on the complaint the search is on to trace the accused as the police tries to access cctv footage of the incident.
